Arthur Jacob Nature Reserve

Arthur Jacob Nature Reserve is a local nature reserve in Horton. The nature reserve is owned by the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead .

The nature reserve is 4.6 hectares (11 acres) in size. The Reserve has four lagoons with the rest of the site being a mixture of trees, shrubs and wildflower meadows.

The site was opened to the public in 1996 after a set of derelict sewage sludge lagoons, from gravel extraction were converted into wetland habitats.

In 1998 the site was declared as a local nature reserve by the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead.
