Arlesey Town Football Club is a football club based in Arlesey, Bedfordshire, England. They are currently members of the Central Division of the Southern League Division One Central and play at Hitchin Road. The club is affiliated to the Bedfordshire County Football Association.
The club was formed in 1891. They initially played in the Biggleswade & District League, before joining the Bedfordshire County League in 1922. They left the league in 1926, but returned for a single season in 1927. They subsequently played in the Parthenon League for four seasons, before joining the London League in 1958. After leaving the London League in 1960, the club became a member of Division One of the South Midlands League (a renamed Bedfordshire County League) in 1961.
In 1982–83 the club moved to the United Counties League, winning the Premier Division in 1984–85. Rising costs forced Arlesey to resign from the United Counties Football League, moving back to the Premier Division of the South Midlands League in 1991–92. The 1994–95 season saw the club win the Premier Division with a record 107 points, and then better this achievement by beating Oxford City in the final of the FA Vase at Wembley Stadium. Following the merger of the South Midlands League with the Spartan League to form the Spartan South Midlands League, they were placed in the Premier Division North, and following league reorganisation at the end of the season, were members of the Premier Division for the 1998–99 season. In 1999–2000 they won the Premier Division, earning promoted to Division Three of the Isthmian League. Their first season in this new division was a success with the club losing just two matches in the process of winning the league, scoring an Isthmian League record of 138 goals with a record 100+ goal difference and earning promotion to Division Two. In 2006 the club were moved transferred to Division One North of the Isthmian League, before being transferred back to the Midland Division of the Southern League in 2008.
