The Archdeacon of Limerick was a senior ecclesiastical officer within the Anglican Diocese of Limerick, Ardfert and Aghadoe from the Thirteenth Century: an early holder was Gerald le Mareshall who went on to be Bishop of the Diocese. In recent times the office has been combined with those of Ardfert and Agadoe. The current incumbent is Simon Lumby.to the early Twentieth.
