Archbishop O'Leary is a high school located in northeast Edmonton just north of the downtown core. Archbishop O'Leary is known for its diverse teaching ways. The high school is fairly large with an enrollment of about 1.6k students.
Archbishop O'Leary was opened in 1960 when Edmonton had a population of about 150,000. It is an old school, but is currently being renovated. A new area already added is called the "Success Centre", where students can go to socialize, do homework, plan for their futures and check out books.
