Apostle Suleman Johnson is the Senior Pastor and General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, a church with headquarters in Auchi, Edo State, Nigeria.
Johnson was born in Auchi. Prophets traveled from Warri to Benin City with a message from the Lord. They said that God told them a prophet who would minister in God’s presence had been born. Johnson’s parents did not want to listen further as they were Muslims and did not want their son to leave their faith.
He was in secondary school education when he converted to Christianity. He gave his life to spreading the Gospel.
At first, he worked as an Assistant Pastor in Armor of God Church in Lagos. He joined in April 1998. But after encounters with the Holy Spirit he created Omega Fire Ministries background in 2004.
In 2017, Stephanie Otobo, a Canadian-based singer and stripper, accused Johnson of failing to keep a marriage promise made to her. Another stripper, Queen Esther, said she began a sexual relationship with Johnson in 2013 before a “catastrophic break-up” a year later. Johnson denied the allegations.
Later a governor from the northern part of Nigeria was alleged to have hired Otobo to accuse Johnson. Her mother apologised to him in person.
