Aplysina (also known as Aplysia (which may also refer to a genus of sea hares), Luffaria, and Verongia) is the name of a genus of demosponges within the phylum Porifera. It was first authenticated and described by Nardo in 1834.
Aplysia is a genus of medium-sized to extremely large sea slugs, specifically sea hares, which are one clade of large sea slugs, marine gastropod mollusks.
