"Anysound" is a rock song by The Vines from their 2006 album Vision Valley. The song is famous for its video, directed by Michel Gondry, involving puppets. It was first released on YouTube, and eventually made it to television. Some of the lyrics deal with the inner turmoil felt by the lead singer, Craig Nicholls, in 2004 due to an incident at a hotel, in the opening line "I am a Vine, all twisted and frayed." It was played in episode 21 in season 3 of The O.C. It has also appeared in Thrillville: Off the Rails.
