Annie Wright Schools is a private school in Tacoma, Washington, United States. It is subdivided into Annie Wright Lower School (boys and girls in preschool through grade 5), Annie Wright Middle School (boys and girls in grades 6-8), Annie Wright Upper School for Girls (all-girls day and boarding programs for grades 9 through 12), and Annie Wright Upper School for Boys (all-boys day and boarding programs for grades 9 through 12). It was founded in 1884. It has an indoor pool, two gyms, science and technology labs, art and music studios, theater, outdoor gardens, play areas, athletic fields and open spaces.

Annie Wright School was founded as Annie Wright Seminary by Charles Barstow Wright, who named it for his daughter Annie.

in 1884, Annie Wright Seminary opened its doors to 46 students from the Washington Territory, Oregon, British Columbia and Hawaii. At that time, there were ten members of the faculty. The first school catalog outlined the offerings of Annie Wright Seminary: "For board, furnished room, tuition in English branches and Latin, and laundry service, $350 a year."

Mary McCarthy wrote of her time at Annie Wright Seminary in her memoirs Memories of a Catholic Girlhood and How I Grew.

Recently, Annie Wright Schools has announced the decision to open an Upper School for Boys on the legacy all-girls campus

While the unanimous decision by the Board of Trustees and Head of Schools, Christian Sullivan, has been met with approval by the parents of middle school boys in particular, several alumnae have voiced concern for the implementation plans of the new Upper School for Boys. While 9th grade enrollment for boys will begin Fall 2017, a building for the boys has not yet been built, though plans are in progress to attain permits. Until it is built, boys will spend some of their time on campus sharing classroom space in the legacy classrooms that were built to educate girls, and part-time the boys will transported off-campus to a rented facility. Additionally, if and when the new building is complete, the intent is not to include new dorms, meaning that boys will be moving into the dormitory with the girls. Alumnae have also voiced concern that there is no back-up plan if the permits do not go through, and that staffing resources, such as current Head of the Upper School Susan Bauska, are being diverted from the girls' campus to the new Upper School for Boys (Susan Bauska will serve at the new Head of the Upper School for Boys only beginning the fall of 2017 school year).
