Anneliese Dodds (born 16 March 1978) is a British Member of the European Parliament for the South East England region for the Labour Party. She was elected in 2014.
Dodds was born in Scotland and moved to South East England in 1996 where she studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics at St Hilda's College, Oxford. She graduated from Oxford with a first-class degree, and subsequently read for a master's in Social Policy at the University of Edinburgh, followed by a PhD in Government at the London School of Economics. As of May 2017, she is a Senior Lecturer in Public Policy at Aston University, Birmingham.
She is the Labour candidate for Oxford East in the 2017 UK General Election.
She sits on the European Parliament's Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs.
