Andrew E. Busch is a Lieutenant General in the United States Air Force currently serving as the Director of the Defense Logistics Agency, in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. The general is responsible for logistics services to all branches of the United States Armed Forces including spare parts, medical supplies, uniforms, food, and fuel. He oversees a workforce of over 24,000 military and civilian personnel located in 48 states and 28 countries.

General Busch received his Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Air Force Academy in 1979. He then attended Golden Gate University and received his Master of Public Administration degree in 1981. In 1985, he attended the Squadron Officer School in Maxwell Air Force Base. In 1990, General Busch earned a Master of Science degree in logistics management at the Air Force Institute of Technology, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. In 1995, he was awarded a Master of Science degree in national resource strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, Fort Lesley J. McNair in the District of Columbia. In 2005, General Busch attended the Leadership for a Democratic Society program at the Federal Executive Institute in Charlottesville, Virginia.
