Andreas Öberg (born 6 August 1978) is a Swedish guitarist, songwriter and music producer.
A number of his songs have gone platinum in sales. Öberg has written music which has topped the singles and album charts in Japan and Korea. He has written music for Girls' Generation, Namie Amuro, Exile, Super Junior, EXO, Arashi, TVXQ, BoA, SHINee, Red Velvet, f(x), Hey!Say!JUMP, Kim Hyun Joong, ジャニーズWEST, B1A4, 2PM, BEAST and VIXX.
Öberg was born in Stockholm on 6 August 1978. He began playing guitar at age eight, and studied at the . He has performed with Les Paul, Eros Ramazzotti, Hank Jones and Bireli Lagrene.
Öberg won the Hagström Guitar Award and the Gevalia Music Prize in 2004 and the International Guitar Competition Prize in Montreux in 2006. Öberg is a former guest lecturer at the Musicians Institute (formerly GIT) in Hollywood.
Since early 2012, Öberg has focused on writing and producing pop and rhythm and blues music for Asian, US and European artists. Notable releases with songs by Öberg songs are Girls' Generation's RIAJ platinum-certified album Girls & Peace and their RIAJ gold-certified album Love & Peace (with the four co-written songs "Motorcycle", "Gossip Girls", "Do the Catwalk" and "Lingua Franca") and TVXQ's RIAJ platinum-certified Tree and With. Tree peaked at number two on the United World album chart (listing the bestselling albums in the world weekly) in March 2014.
