The Anderson Gladiators are a professional indoor football team and a member of Supreme Indoor Football (SIF) set to begin play for its inaugural 2017 season. Based in Anderson, South Carolina, the Gladiators will play their home games at the Civic Center of Anderson.
On October 6, 2016, the Gladiators were announced as the seventh member team of the new Arena Developmental League, with their logo and color scheme unveiled that day. The team was announced to be co-owned by former NFL players Rod Gardner and Frank Walker. However, the team apparently ran into issues securing the lease to the Civic Center of Anderson in time for the ADL's deadlines and were removed from the league on November 5, 2016. On the same day, Supreme Indoor Football posted on their social media accounts that the Gladiators had agreed to join the SIF for the 2017 season.
