Ana Brenda Contreras Pérez (born December 24, 1986), sometimes credited simply as Ana Brenda, is a Mexican-American actress and singer.
Contreras was born in McAllen,Texas on December 24. Due to this, her family call her Niky for San Nicolas. She moved to Mexico City at age 15, to join the reality show Pop Stars, where she was a finalist and member of a group, T'detila, who released an album with the same name. In 2003, she joined Televisa's CEA to study acting.
In 2005, she portrayed Juanita in her debut telenovela, Barrera de amor, produced by Ernesto Alonso. In 2006, Contreras participated in a production of Grease. That same year, she had a role in the novela Duelo de Pasiones as Claudia, which was produced by Juan Osorio.
In 2008, she starred in the film Divina Confusion, directed by Salvador Garcini. She also starred as the protagonist, Violeta Madrigal, in the telenovela Juro Que Te Amo, which was produced by MaPat. In 2009, producer Carla Estrada offered her the role as the main antagonist of the telenovela Sortilegio. That same year, Contreras acted in an episode of the TV series Mujeres Asesinas. She also had a role in the series Tiempo Final.
In 2010, Contreras played the co-protagonist of Teresa. She also played Carol in the musical Timbiriche. Contreras later starred in the telenovela La que no podia amar (2011) as Ana Paula, the lead protagonist. In 2013, Contreras starred in Nathalie Lartilleux's telenovela Corazón indomable, a remake of Marimar, alongside Daniel Arenas. Two years later, she played the lead role in Salvador Mejía Alejandre's telenovela Lo imperdonable alongside Iván Sánchez.
