Song Khwae (Thai: สองแคว, pronounced [sɔ̌ːŋ kʰwɛ̄ː]) is a district (Amphoe) in the northwestern part of Nan Province, northern Thailand.
The minor district (King Amphoe) Song Khwae was established on April 1, 1992 with three tambon split off from Chiang Klang district. It was upgraded to a full district on October 11, 1997.
Neighboring are from the east clockwise Thung Chang, Chiang Klang and Tha Wang Pha of Nan Province, Pong and Chiang Kham of Phayao Province. To the north it borders Xaignabouli Province of Laos.
The district is subdivided into 3 subdistricts (tambon), which are further subdivided into 25 villages (muban). Yot is the township (thesaban tambon) and covers the complete area of tambon Yot. There are further 2 Tambon administrative organizations (TAO).
