Amerio Prize

The Lucio & Wanda Amerio Gold Medal Prize, or simply called "Amerio Prize", is a prize awarded every year by the Istituto Lombardo Accademia di Scienze e Lettere in Milan, to an Italian Mathematician in recognition of his/her outstanding contributions to the field of Mathematical Analysis. The medal is named after the Italian mathematician Luigi Amerio and his wife Wanda. Amerio was for many years professor at the Polytechnic University of Milan.
