This year saw a lot of good movies. The Shawshank Redemption, one of the finest movies ever made which is based on Stephen King's work, was also released in this year. The critically acclaimed pulp fiction praised for its non linear story line from Quentin Tarantino and Buena Vista The Lion King and Paramount's Forrest Gump from the director of Back to the Future was still praised by many for Tom Hank's performance.
