Amanda Anisimova (born August 31, 2001) is an American tennis player. She was the runner-up at the 2016 Junior French Open, making her the first American to reach the final at the event since 2002.
Anisimova reached a career high of No. 2 in the girls' ITF junior rankings after winning the Grade A Abierto Juvenil Mexicano title in November 2015 and making it to the final of the French Open in June 2016.
In August 2016, Anisimova played and won her first career professional-level match in US Open qualifying against No. 124 Veronica Cepede Royg. In April 2017, she burst into the Top 300 of the WTA rankings with back-to-back clay court finals at the ITF $80K event in Indian Harbour Beach, Florida and the ITF $60K event in Dothan, Alabama the following week. With these results, she won the USTA French Open Wildcard Challenge to earn a wildcard into the main draw of the 2017 French Open.
