Aloysius Pieris

Aloysius Pieris (Sinhala: ඇලෝසියස් පීරිස්) (born April 9, 1934) is a Jesuit Priest and the director of the Tulana Research Center for Encounter and Dialogue in Sri Lanka.

Fr Pieris was appointed to the Henry Luce Chair of World Christianity at Union Theological Seminary in 1988. He was appointed to the A. P. Wilson Distinguished Visiting Chair of Theology at Vanderbilt University in 1992.
