alliantgroup is a national tax consulting services firm that works with CPA firms and their business clients to identify and claim available federal and state government-sponsored tax credits and incentives. alliantgroup assists companies with obtaining tax incentives for activities such as research and development, manufacturing, exporting, energy-efficient design, and hiring in certain established enterprise zones.

alliantgroup was founded in 2002 by Jim M. Jacobsen & Dhaval Jadav, as Co-CEO, formerly with Big 4 accountancy firm Deloitte, and Shane Frank, COO.

alliantgroup’s services include identifying tax credits and business deductions and developing detailed case studies to substantiate claims in connection with the following federal and state tax credit and incentive programs:

A strategic advisory board composed of industry experts including those formerly from Big 4 accounting firms, law firms, and the IRS, provides guidance to alliantgroup's directors and clients. Members of the advisory board include former IRS Commissioner, Mark W. Everson, former Missouri Governor and U.S. Senator Kit Bond, former Minnesota Congressman Jim Ramstad, former New York Congressman Rick Lazio, Bob Riley, former Alabama Governor and U.S. Congressman, as well as Dean Zerbe, former Senior Counsel and Tax Counsel to the U.S. Senate Finance Committee. In January 2010, Zerbe was profiled on Keith Olbermann’s MSNBC show as part of the "Worse, Worser, Worst” segment for his comments on Wyclef Jean’s Haitian relief fund Other publications, though, including the New York Post and The New York Times, published articles that shared Zerbe’s scrutiny regarding the charity.
