Ali Ahmed Mabkhout Mohsen Omaran Alhajeri (Arabic: علي أحمد مبخوت محسن عمران الهاجري; born 5 October 1990) known as Ali Mabkhout, is an Emirati professional footballer who plays as a forward for Al Jazira Club and the UAE national team.
Compared to former UAE player Adnan Al Talyani, Mabkhout has been described as having great physical strength and high speed ability. He developed for Al Jazira's youth team and made his way through to the first team in 2009.
He made his senior and league debut on 17 April 2009 in a 4–1 home win against Al Sharjah Club, but he did not emerge significantly in his debut. His second match was against Al Dhafra on 26 April which he scored his first senior goal for Al Jazira. He started next match against rivals Al Ain in Dubai derby. His talent emerged remarkably and he scored his second senior goal in the 90th minute and match was ended 2-0 to Al Jazira. He also made his AFC Champions League debut against Esteghlal and scored the winning goal in the 49th minute.
Mabkhout began to gain respect of the fans at the beginning of season. He made a great and fearsome partnership with Ricardo Oliveira. The new season began and a more developed Mabkhout performance was noticeable. He began to score from the beginning of the season.
He was part of the UAE olympic team that qualified to olympic games in London. He played 3 games in Olympic games against Uruguay, Great Britain and Senegal.
