Alexis Tameron is the current Chairman of the Arizona Democratic Party. Tameron, who was chief of staff for Congressman Harry Mitchell and campaign manager on Richard Carmona's 2012 U.S. Senate bid. Tameron is the first woman to lead the Arizona Democratic Party. Tameron was a super delegate to the 2016 Democratic National convention, she did not endorse a candidate before the convention. Tameron is a registered lobbyist for American Traffic Solutions.
In 2017, Tameron and the Democratic Party were sued over claims that the party paid $124,000 to Saguaro Strategies from its federal campaign account. Tameron's husband, Adam Kinsey, is a partner at Saguaro Strategies.
