Alex Ranarivelo is a French-American film director, editor, and screenwriter, best known for directing Born to Race.
Ranarivelo was born in Saint-Jean-d'Angély, France, and moved to New York City with his family at the age of 7. He studied BFA in film from the Art Center College of Design.
In 2012, Ranarivelo directed an action film Born to Race, followed by its sequel Born to Race: Fast Track in 2014. He wrote the script along with Ali Afshar and Steven Sarno.
Ranarivelo is currently directing a drama film Running Wild based on the script by Christina Moore and Brian Rudnick.
