Aleksey Aleksandrovich Chadov (Russian: Алексе́й Алекса́ндрович Ча́дов, born 2 September 1981) is a Russian film actor. He appeared in more than 30 films since 2002. Brother to Andrei Chadov.
Aleksey made his film debut in the film War (2002) by director Aleksei Balabanov. In 2002, he received the Best Actor Award at the Montreal World Film Festival.
Soon the young actor starred as Kolya Malakhov in the film On the Nameless Height. In 2003, Alex was invited by film director Andrei Proshkin to play the main role in the drama Moths Games . Also in 2003, Alexei played another very important role (Vampire Kostya) in the blockbuster Night Watch by Timur Bekmambetov.
The actor also played in such successful films as The 9th Company, Heat, and in the Love in the City trilogy.
He was a presenter of the TV program Pro Kino on the Muz-TV channel (2003–2005).
From 2006 to 2009, Alex had a girlfriend, an actress Agnia Ditkovskyte, whom he met while playing in the film Heat. Few years later, Alex and Agnes started dating again (they starred together in the film A Matter of Honor) and at the end of August 2012 they married.
