Alec Michael Torelli (born March 24, 1987) also known by his moniker traheho, is an American professional poker player from California who specializes in live high stakes cash games. Torelli used to be sponsored by Doyles Room.
Although considered a cash game specialist, Torelli has had success in live tournaments. As of 2015, his total live tournament winnings exceed $1,500,000.
In 2017, Torelli was heavily criticized in the poker community for allegedly engaging in angleshooting during a televised episode of Poker Night in America. This included criticism from well-known poker professional Doug Polk. During the hand, larger denomination chips totaling $10,000 were hidden behind smaller denomination chips in Torelli's stack of poker chips. This is against the rules of poker, where larger denomination chips have to be in plain view. This influenced the opponent's play, who ended up losing $10,000 more than he believed was at stake. Torelli also misrepresented to the casino floor the placement of his chips when attempting to explain and justify the situation. Following the hand, Torelli boasted that he used his opponent's surprise at the discovery of the high-value chips as a "read" to determine that his opponent's hand was mediocre. Later, Torelli posted a video on youtube faulting his opponent for not knowing Torelli's chip stack size.
