Albawings is an Albanian airline headquartered in Tirana and based at Tirana International Airport.
Albawings was founded in February 2015 by two entrepreneurs, Gentian Kole and Dhimitër Tola. Albawings was awarded the Air Operator‘s Certificate (AOC) by the Albanian Civil Aviation Authority on 4 February 2016. The first aircraft of the company, a Boeing 737-500, with which Albawings started its operations, is called "Spirit of Tirana".
On December 11th 2016, the second aircraft was delivered by Bruce Dickinson. The leased plane was a Boeing 737-400 leased by Cardiff Aviation and it was named after Sir Norman Wisdom, which is a very popular actor for Albanians, mainly for his role of Mr.Pitkin.

Albawings signed a codeshare agreement with Blue Panorama Airlines on 13 September 2016. They operate together on new destinations linking Tirana with other Italian cities like Turin, Treviso and Florence.
