Ala Singh

Ala Singh (1691–1765) or Baba Ala Singh was the first Maharaja of the historical princely state of Patiala. Previously he was Jathedar of Phulkian Misl. He was born in 1691 at Phul, in present day Bathinda district of the Punjab.
