The Akbayan! Youth (Filipino: Kabataang Akbayan), or A!Y is a democratic socialist youth formation in the Philippines. It is the youth wing of Akbayan Citizens' Action Party, a progressive and democratically left political party.
Akbayan Youth, as a collective of youth activists and different youth organizations, has been in existence since 1998. In 2007, it held its founding congress where its first set of national officers were elected, a general program of action was approved and its constitution and by laws was ratified.
Akbayan Youth accounts approximately 8,000 members present in most cities and provinces across the Philippines.
