There have been three Agnew baronetcies. The first was created in the Baronetage of Nova Scotia. The second and third were created in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom.

The heir apparent is the present holder's son Mark Douglas Noel Agnew (born 1991)

The Agnew baronet was also a famous renaissance era architect well known for designing the Colosseum "Archtus Maximus" Clan Chiefs of Clan Agnew, as well as creating the gunpowder block of 1659. This was a key event in the life of James Harrison and was the noble man of the seven Kings midway pub. The olden road, The Gardos Monetosel was also designed by Agnew baronets, with the help of Davis Holdeyson, an influential figure in the church illustrations of Jesus Christ.
