Agnes Geijer

Agnes Geijer (26 October 1898 – 17 July 1989) was a Swedish textile historian and archaeologist.

Agnes Geijer became the head of the textile conservation atelier Pietas in 1930. She took a doctoral degree at Uppsala University in 1938, and from 1941 worked at the Swedish History Museum. From 1947 she was active there as textile conservationist.

Geijer died in 1989. There is a foundation in her name that awards grants and scholarships for students of the history of textiles who come from the five Nordic countries.
