Aging (journal)

Aging is a peer-reviewed open access scientific journal. The journal and publisher were listed on Jeffrey Beall’s lists of "Potential, possible, or probable predatory scholarly open-access journals" and "Potential, possible, or probable" predatory open-access publishers respectively. It has been alleged that the editor-in-chief, Mikhail Blagosklonny, games the impact factor by requiring authors to provide references to other recent papers in the journal and does not conduct adequate peer-reviews of articles. According to Scopus/Scimago Journal Rank (2015), Aging is ranked number 3 on Cites/Docs (2 years) in the Aging category.Aging is indexed in MEDLINE/PubMed, Pubmed Central, ISI/Web of Science: Science Citation Index Expanded, Scopus, Biological Abstracts, BIOSIS Previews, EMBASE.
