Actinopyga echinites, commonly known as the brown sea cucumber, or spiny sea cucumber, is a species of sea cucumber in the family Holothuriidae.
Actinopyga echinites is found in the western central Pacific, off the coasts of Asia and Africa and the Indian Ocean. It is found at depths between 0 and 30 m (0–98 ft).
