Acer caudatifolium is an Asian species of maple. It has been found only in Taiwan. The species is sometimes confused with another Taiwanese tree, Acer morrisonense.
Acer caudatifolium is a tree up to 20 meters tall. Leaves are non-compound, the blade narrowly egg-shaped, up to 11 cm long and 4.5 cm wide, with teeth but no lobes.
