Abdur Rahman Siddiqui was a Pakistani politician and Governor of East Pakistan.
He was politician of the Muslim League. He graduated from Aligarh University. After graduation he joined The Comrade journal by Muhammad Ali. He was the managing editor of the Journal which was published from Kolkata. He was involved in the Khilafat Movement and volunteered as a medic in the Balkan Wars. From 1937 to 1946 he was a member of the Bengal Legislative Assembly.
In 1946 he was elected to the Indian Legislative Assembly in 1946. He initiated the publication of The Daily Morning News in Kolkata of which he was the editor from 1942 to 1948. In 1940 he was elected Mayor of Calcutta. He was one of the founders of Eastern Federal Insurance Company.
He died in 1953.
