A Very English Murder (Russian: Чисто английское убийство, translit. Chisto angliyskoe ubiystvo) is a 1974 Soviet teleplay directed by Samson Samsonov, based on the novel An English Murder by Cyril Hare.
The film has been shot on stage with multiple television cameras running simultaneously. Originally the film had been cut in two versions: a television version had three episodes, a movie theater version had two one-hour episodes. It seems that the television version has been lost, because the film is shown as two-episode movie when broadcast on TV. The DVD version also has two episodes.
