Syrian Civil War

The 5th Corps was an alliance of five rebel groups affiliated with the Free Syrian Army that was involved in the Syrian Civil War. All five units received TOW missiles from the US-backed “Friends of Syria” alliance. Despite being supported by the US, the group condemned the American-led intervention in Syria against ISIL and the al-Nusra Front. The alliance seems to be defunct.
