The 50 haleru coin was minted in the German protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia between 1940 and 1944 during World War II. It is worth 1/2 or .50 of a koruna. Made entirely of zinc, the 50 haleru is an emergency issue type, similar to the coins of other German occupied territories.
