The 49th Annual Country Music Association Awards, commonly known as the 49th CMA Awards, were held on November 4, 2015 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. The ceremony recognises some of the best country music released during the eligibility period (June 1, 2014 until May 31, 2015). It was the tenth ceremony to be held at the Arena, the sixteenth to be held in November and the eighth night to be co-hosted by country stars Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood.
The nominations for the 49th CMA Awards were announced on 9 September 2015 on Good Morning America by Steven Tyler and Kelsea Ballerini. The nominees were lead by Miranda Lambert with 4 categories, while Chris Stapleton was the big winner of the night with 3 awards.
