The 3rd Infantry Division, is a unit of the Philippine Army, based at Camp Gen Macario Peralta Jr in Jamindan, Capiz, Philippines.
During the Second World War II under the Japanese Occupation, the 3rd Infantry Division, Philippine Commonwealth Army was established on January 3, 1942, to June 30, 1946, under the 3rd Military Area of the Commonwealth Army were founded on 1942 to 1946 at the military general headquarters and military camps and garrisoned in Central Luzon was the assigned to combat the armed forces of the Japanese Imperial military insurgency in Central Luzon, before the Liberation of the Philippines and started the fall of engagements of the Anti-Japanese Imperial Military Operations in Central Luzon from 1942 to 1945 included the provinces of Bataan, Bulacan, Northern Tayabas (now. Aurora and Quezon), Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac and Zambales to helping local various recognized guerrilla units, the Hukbalahap Communist guerrillas led by Supremo Luis Taruc and U.S. liberating troops by defeated and fought against from the Japanese Imperial forces.

During the Liberation of Bulacan, local troopers of the Philippine Commonwealth Army 3rd Infantry Division was entered and they found liberated the province of Bulacan and they supporting the local Bulaceño guerrilla resistance under the Bulacan Military Area (BMA) and the U.S. liberation military forces was attacking the Imperial Japanese troops. The combined U.S. and Philippine Commonwealth troops captured and clearing the province of Bulacan after the fighting of the main battle. Since the Northern Tayabas Campaign, local troopers of the Philippine Commonwealth Army 3rd Infantry Division was retaken and found liberated in Northern Tayabas and helped the local guerrilla resistance fighter groups and the U.S. liberation military forces was attacking the Imperial Japanese troops include the Battle of Baler, Battle of Casiguran, Siege of Dinalungan and the Liberation of San Luis. The combined U.S. and Philippine Commonwealth troops captured and clearing the province of Northern Tayabas after the fighting of the main battles and campaigns.
