The 2018 Rugby World Cup Sevens will be the seventh edition of the Rugby World Cup Sevens. Organised by World Rugby, it was announced on 13 May 2015 that the tournament will be played at two stadiums in the San Francisco Bay Area: AT&T Park in San Francisco and Avaya Stadium in San Jose.

USA Rugby selected the San Francisco Bay Area as the host candidate. Venues are the AT&T Park and Avaya Stadium, respectively home of the San Francisco Giants and San Jose Earthquakes.
Teams automatically qualified by reaching the quarterfinals (for men) or semifinals (for women) at the 2013 Rugby World Cup Sevens plus the top four teams (not already qualified) from the 2016-17 World Sevens Series and the 2016-17 Women's World Sevens Series.
