The 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship is an upcoming bowl game that will determine the national champion of NCAA Division I FBS college football for the 2017 season. It will be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia on January 8, 2018, as the culminating game of the 2017-18 bowl season. As part of a three-year rotation, the game will be played between the winners of two semi-final bowl games which will be played on January 1, 2018; the Rose Bowl Game, and the Sugar Bowl. The participants in these two games will be determined following the conclusion of the 2017 regular season.
Mercedes-Benz Stadium was announced as the host site for the fourth College Football National Championship on November 4, 2015. Along with Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California and Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The game will be televised nationally by ESPN.
