The 2017 Moldovan "A" Division (Romanian: Divizia A) is the 27th season of Moldovan football's second-tier league.
Sheriff-2 Tiraspol are the defending champions. The competition began on 14 July 2017.
In the regular season the 13 teams will meet once, a total of 12 matches per team, with the top 6 advancing to the Championship round and the bottom 7 qualifying for Relegation round.
The top six teams from Regular season will meet once (5 matches per team). Points and goals will carry over in full from regular season.
The bottom seven teams from regular season will meet once (6 matches per team) to contest against relegation. Points and goals will carry over in full from regular season.
