The Football NSW 2017 season will be the fifth season of football in New South Wales under the banner of the National Premier Leagues. The competition consists of four divisions across the state of New South Wales. The Premiers of the NPL NSW Men's 1 will qualify for the national finals, where they will play off against other premiers from the 7 other states playing in the competition, to decide the champion of the 2017 National Premier Leagues, the winner of which will receive a spot in the 2018 FFA Cup.
The National Premier League New South Wales 2017 season will be played over 22 rounds, beginning in March with the regular season concluding in August 2016.

The 2017 National Premier League NSW Men's 2 is the fifth edition of the NPL NSW 2 as the second level domestic association football competition in New South Wales. 14 teams are set to compete, all playing each other twice for a total of 26 rounds, with the top team at the end of the year being promoted to the NPL NSW Men's 1 competition.
The 2017 National Premier League NSW Men's 3 will be the fifth edition of the NPL NSW Men's 3 to be incorporated under the National Premier Leagues banner. 14 teams will compete, all playing each other twice for a total of 26 rounds.
The 2017 NSW State League will be the fifth edition of the State League to be incorporated under the National Premier Leagues banner. 10 teams are set to compete, all playing each other twice for a total of 18 matches.
