The 2017 Capital Football season is the fifth season under the new competition format in the Australian Capital Territory. The overall premier for the new structure qualifies for the National Premier Leagues finals series, competing with the other state federation champions in a final knockout tournament to decide the National Premier Leagues Champion for 2017.

The 2017 National Premier League ACT season was scheduled to be played over 18 rounds, beginning on 1 April 2017 with the regular season concluding on 20 August 2017.

The 2017 ACT Capital League is the fifth edition of the new Capital League as the second level domestic association football competition in the ACT. Each team will play each other twice for a total of 16 rounds. The season starts on 1 April 2017 and runs until September 2017.
