The 2015–16 season is the 119th season of competitive football in Scotland. The domestic season began on 25 July 2015, with the first round of the 2015–16 Scottish Challenge Cup. The 2015–16 Scottish Professional Football League season commenced on 1 August.

Celtic, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Aberdeen and St Johnstone qualified for European competition.
