The 2015–16 Detroit Pistons season was the 75th season of the franchise, the 68th in the National Basketball Association (NBA), and the 59th in the Detroit suburban area. This season marked the first time the Pistons qualified for the NBA playoffs since the 2008–09 season, and also marked their first winning season since the 2007–08 season. Their season ended when they were swept by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round.
