The 2014–15 Sporting Clube da Praia season were in the island division of football (soccer). The club finished 2nd after Boavista FC with 34 points and a point head of Desportivo.

The club scored 26 goals and had 9 wins, 7 ties, 2 losses and 34 points.

The 2014-15 season would start being third, a near better start, rankings staggered to 8th in the third week and did not climbed to second in the ninth week, it dropped to third in the 16th week and regained it to second in the 17th, it did not recover, it remained second for the rest of the competition and finished it behind Boavista FC.

Like last season, a loss occurred in the first week to Bairro. The next two weeks had their matches ended in a draw but crippled a chance to become first place almost on its entirety, the second week match scored the club's first goal of the season. Their first victory was during the fourth week by only a single goal over Vitória. A scoreless draw was made with Varanda the following week, Sporting's second victory followed with a point over Garridos. Sporting's third draw was on February 7 with Boavista with a point. Sporting next victory was with Académica. The February 22 match with Travadores was disputed, Sporting originally finished 2-0 over Travadores, Sporting fielded an ineligible player, Sporting lost three points and fully crippled their chance for winning a championship along with their entry into the national championships. The club done their three-game winning streak until a scoreless draw occurred with Desportivo on March 15, Sporting defeated Vitória the following week, Sporting's final draw was with Varanda on March 27 and then a victory over Garridos a week later. Sporting's second and final loss was on week 16 to Boavista by one goal. The remaining two matches was a two match winning streak over Académica and Travadores and Praia finished second behind Boavista.

Sporting Praia scored a total number of 26 goals. Sporting started having most of the goals away and much of it after the third week, 2/3 of the goals were away at the seventh week and then 60% of it scored away at the eight week, the number risen to 65% by the eleventh week, around 2/3 in week 13, around 70% in week 15 and more than 73% at the final week. Most of the 26 goals were scored away numbered 19, 7 were scored at home, the number equalled to the goals conceded to another team home and away.
