The 2013 New Zealand National Basketball League season was the 32nd running of the competition.
The Final Four weekend was held in Napier, with the semi-finals on Saturday 13 July, followed by the grand final on Sunday 14 July.
The teams for this season were: Hawke's Bay Hawks, Manawatu Jets, Nelson Giants, OceanaGold Nuggets, Southland Sharks, Super City Rangers, Taranaki Mountainairs, Waikato Pistons and Wellington Saints.
*Despite holding New Zealand citizenship, Jones had to play as an import due to a new league rule where each team can only field one naturalised New Zealand player (Manawatu already had Nick Horvath filling that spot).
