Lietuvos krepšinio lyga 2012–2013 (LKL) is the 20th season of the top basketball league of Lithuania.
Every team except Žalgiris and Lietuvos rytas will play 22 games, two against each other. This two teams, due to their participation in Euroleague, will play only eleven games, all of them away.
The eight first qualified teams will join the playoffs. Quarterfinal series will be played with a best-of-three series format, semifinals with a best-of-five and the finals with a best-of-seven games format. The last qualified of the Regular Season will be relegated to the NKL.
