The 2011 season was Molde's 4th consecutive year in Tippeligaen, and their 33rd season in the top flight of Norwegian football. It was Ole Gunnar Solskjær's first season as the club's manager. Molde FK's U19 squad played in the inaugural tournament of the NextGen series.
