Sportul Studențesc was denied the right to participate for next seasons Liga I because it failed to meet the requirements, so Pandurii Lignitul Târgu Jiu (15th place in Divizia A 2005-06) took advantage and filed its place.
(C) = Champion; (R) = Relegated; (P) = Promoted; (E) = Eliminated; (O) = Play-off winner; (A) = Advances to a further round.
